Legends of Hyrule classroom

Welcome to Legends of Hyrule classroom!

Of all the legends that you will learn this one is of most dire importance, this legend tells about how Hyrule came to be. Centuries ago, when the world was merely space and stars, there existed (and still exist) three golden goddesses. The goddesses ruled above in there heaven controling the very galaxy itself. Each of these goddesses shared power but they also had each unique powers. Din, the Goddess of Power, controlled the earths and gave strength to all, Nyru, the Goddess of Wisdom, controlled the skies and brought law throughout the multiverse, and finally Farore, the Goddess of Courage, controlled growth (hylian literal translation for vegitation and life) and brought life to uphold the law. During their reign of magesty dark forces began to fluxuate throught the multiverse, so the goddesses created a seperate world apart from theirs. Din, blew a whole in the galaxy and used its debri to create the earth of this new realm, Nyru, parted with her faith to create law for this new earth, and Farore gave away her spirit to create life to uphold the new earth's law. They rested and gave this new world the name HYRULE, which means glory. The goddesses then locked away their remaining powers in three golden triangles known as the triforce, the sealed the triforce in a temple in Hyrule. it was protected by six sages until one day a hero would come to travel across time to restore the Goddesses to glory once again. This is Hyrule's story.

2005-05-19 [Malve]: Tell me a myth then :)

2005-05-19 [Rhammin]: a myth of Hyrule would be somthing like the Belief that Gorons worship the Goron's ruby, when in fact they do not worship the stone, it is simply a sacred item to them. there is an example of a myth.

2005-05-19 [Malve]: Wow, never heard of that before

2005-05-19 [Rhammin]: yeah, well i have so much time on my hands i might as well use it to research what i love.

2005-05-20 [Malve]: yeah :)

2005-05-20 [Rhammin]: there is just one problem, i have limited net access so i can only be on for a certain period each day. but i'll do my best to keep you and every one else updated.

2005-05-20 [Malve]: I already know almsot everything about Zelda anyways :) I got limited net access too... timer on my net...

2005-05-20 [I'm Your Favourite Mistake]: hi

2005-05-20 [Malve]: hiya :)

2005-05-23 [Rhammin]: welcom

2005-05-24 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: Sensei! *waves hand in the air* Sensei!!!!! Question, question!! so... so... if the goron's don't worship the Ruby, What do they worship that is related to the ruby or that the ruby represents or communicates to?

2005-05-25 [Rhammin]: how did you find this room? . . . . . . never mind, well the ruby is symbolic in that it represents the god of power, Din. Din is one of the three golden goddesses(can't spell today) she created the ground and the earth and mountain, which the Goron race treasure so dearly, with out the earth, the Goron race would die out. Do ya' get it?

2005-05-25 [Malve]: So then they do worship the ruby , but not like they pray to it, it just means the life for them?

2005-05-25 [Rhammin]: yeah pretty much, religions in hyrule are very difficult to comprehend, have you read any of the Zelda books?

2005-05-25 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: I found it on yer profile! I've played Ocarina of Time and quit halfway thru Majora's mask cuz they make it so you have to collect the faeries in the temples to beat the game >_> NOT FAIR!!

2005-05-25 [Rhammin]: not true, you can beat the game with out collecting the fairies, collecting the fair ies just gets you the Great Fairy's sword. Did you beat ocarina of time?

2005-05-25 [Rhammin]: hey ubero, has erica been on ET lately? i really need her.

2005-05-26 [Malve]: I didn't know there were any zelda books... lol

2005-05-26 [Rhammin]: oh there are quite a few, one for each temple, one for each game, and some others that are just out there.

2005-05-28 [Rhammin]: you'd lovce them, they're more gory and graphic than the game. *huggles his zelda book collection*

2005-05-31 [Rhammin]: oh students or just people visiting, im going to soon have more subjects so you can learn more about ZELDA!!!!! XD!!!!!
